Dog Walking Service - Terms & Conditions

By booking our services, you confirm that you are the legal owner of the dog(s) or have obtained permission from the legal owner to authorise our services. It is your responsibility to provide accurate and up to date information regarding your dog(s).

Owners must disclose any medical conditions, behavioural issues or special requirements their dog(s) may have prior to the commencement of services. All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick treatments and worming. Proof of vaccination may be requested. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service for any dog showing signs of illness, aggression or behaviour that may pose risk to others.

Dogs must wear secure collars or harnesses and have ID tags with up to date contact information. We will not allow dogs off-leash unless explicitly authorised in writing by the owner and in safe, secure areas. Your dog's safety is our priority but we cannot be held liable for injuries, accidents or loss of dogs resulting from unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to avoid being charged in full. In the event we need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, we will provide as much notice as possible and reschedule where feasible.

Walks will proceed in most weather conditions. However, in extreme weather (e.g. heavy storms, extreme heat, snow) walks may be shortened, rescheduled or replaced with indoor activities for the safety of you dog(s).

Invoices will be sent on a weekly basis and will be due no later 72 hours after receiving your invoice. If you do not pay on time late payment fees may apply. We accept cash and bank transfer. Full refunds will be provided if services are cancelled in accordance with our cancellation policy.

While we take every precaution to ensure your dog's safety, we cannot be held responsible for any injury, illness or damage caused to your dog, other animals, property or third party during our services unless resulting from our negligence. The owner is liable for any damage or injury caused by their dog while under our care.

If keys are provided for home access, they will be stored securely and labeled anonymously. Keys will be returned upon request. The owner must ensure access to the property is safe and secure.

In the event of any emergency, we will contact you immediately. If you are unreachable, we will use your designated emergency contact or seek veterinary care if required. Any veterinary costs incurred during an emergency will be the responsibility of the owner.

Photos or videos of your dog(s) may be taken during walks and used for marketing or social media purposes. If you do not wish for your dog's images to be used, please inform us in writing.

Check In Service - Terms & Conditions

Our check-in visits include feeding (if required), refreshing water, comfort breaks, and basic companionship. The length and frequency of visits will be agreed at the time of booking. Any extras, such as administering medication or longer visits, must be agreed separately and may involve an additional charge.

While we take great care when entering and leaving your property, we cannot accept liability for any loss or damage to your home or belongings, unless it is a direct result of our negligence. You are responsible for ensuring your home and belongings are safe and secure for our visits, and for providing safe, well-maintained equipment for your dog (crates, gates etc).

Dog Boarding Service – Terms & Conditions

Our dog boarding service is fully licensed by Basildon Borough Council (Licence No: A11010311) and operates in line with the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018. All dogs in our care must be fully vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date with flea and worm treatments. Owners are required to confirm that their dog is free from any contagious illness and to disclose any behavioural concerns such as reactivity, anxiety, or aggression, as well as any medical needs or ongoing medication requirements.

Owners must provide sufficient food, medication, and familiar items such as bedding or toys to help their dog feel comfortable during their stay. Dogs are cared for in a secure, home-based environment with daily exercise and enrichment. Off-lead walking will only be carried out where written consent has been provided, and we are unable to accept dogs with a history of severe aggression or biting.

In the event of illness or injury, veterinary care will be sought immediately, and owners will be contacted as soon as possible. All veterinary costs remain the responsibility of the owner unless the issue arises due to proven negligence on our part.

A 50% deposit will be required to secure a booking. Deposits are non-refundable unless we are unable to provide the service. The remaining balance will be required no later than 48 hours before your drop off date. Invoices will be sent out prior to the 48 hour cut off point.

While we take every reasonable step to ensure your dog’s safety and wellbeing, we cannot accept liability for illness, injury, or loss unless caused by our negligence. Our service is fully insured for home dog boarding.

Pre-Puppy Advice Service – Terms & Conditions

Our Pre-Puppy Advice Service provides personalised guidance to help you choose the right breed of dog for your lifestyle, home environment, and level of experience. Advice is based on professional knowledge, breed characteristics, and best practices; however, we cannot guarantee specific behavioural outcomes or future health conditions in any dog.

The final decision regarding breed choice, breeder selection, or the purchase of an individual puppy rests entirely with the client. We strongly recommend that all clients purchase from reputable breeders who meet Kennel Club or relevant breed club standards to ensure the best possible start for their puppy.

Full payment for the service is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable.

While we provide expert advice, we cannot accept liability for any issues, including health or behavioural concerns, that may arise after the acquisition of a puppy.

As part of the Premium Package, you will receive 14 days of follow-up email support from the date of your consultation. This support is intended to answer questions directly related to the topics discussed during your session and to provide further clarification or guidance on your personalised breed recommendations. Responses will be given within a reasonable timeframe, usually within 2 working days. This service does not include ongoing behavioural training, medical advice, or unlimited consultancy beyond the agreed scope. After the 14-day period, any further support may be subject to additional fees.

Media & Photography

By using our services, you consent to photographs and videos of your dog being taken during their time with us and used for social media, marketing, and promotional purposes, unless you notify us in writing that you do not wish for your dog’s images to be used.

Data Protection

For all services, all personal data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Your information is used solely for the purpose of providing our services and will never be shared with third parties without consent.
